Reiki can be learnt by anyone wishing to – it is a simple case of having an open mind and trying it for yourself. It is there is the universe for us to tap into and benefit from. Reiki was re-introduced in the early 1900’s as a means of helping us in our worldly challenges.
The First Degree is taught in a one-day workshop and gives the basic principles; the history; where to lay your hands; how to heal yourself, your family, your friends and your pets.
Reiki Second Degree again is taught in a one-day workshop, this time introducing the Reiki symbols and how to use them. It enables you to perform distant and absent healing, and achieve practitioner status should you wish to practice.
Involves applying pressure to the hands and feet to produce changes in pain and other benefits elsewhere in the body. The underlying theory is that there are certain points or "reflex areas" on the feet and hands that are connected energetically to specific organs and body parts through energy channels in the body. By applying pressure to reflex areas, a Reflexologist is said to remove energy blockages and promote health in the related body area.
People have reflexology to help relieve a variety of concerns e.g. hormonal issues, fertility problems, maternity, chronic pain, headaches & migraines, sleep disorders, stress & stress related conditions, digestive disorders and arthritis.
Uses natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. These essential oils are blended specifically to the individual in a treatment for their health concern and applied with gentle massage.
The inhaled aroma from these essential oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing. It is used for a variety of applications, including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function.

Natural balsamic stones have a healing power of themselves (just as crystals do). These are heated and then used to massage the body, providing instant relaxation! This luxury treatment therefore has a threefold effect from the heat, the energy of the stones and beneficial effects of massage, thus creating a balancing meditative experience, leaving you comforted, soothed and grounded.
Uses naturally self-heating Tiger Clam shells infused with healing herbs, from the sun-kissed shores of the South Pacific to soothe all sorts of aches and pains. Massage oil is applied to the back and the therapist uses light strokes to loosen up your muscles and ease any tension that may be lingering. The blissful warming sensation combined with the smooth surface of the shells will make you refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed.
In the early 19th century the Swedish physiologist, Per Henrik Ling developed a system called "Medical Gymnastics" which included movements performed by a therapist. These became known as "Swedish Movements" in Europe and "the Swedish Movement Cure" in the U.S. If you are feeling fatigued, exhausted, or feeling discomfort in the joints or muscles, Swedish massage can help alleviate the aches and pains. It is an excellent way to relax you muscles and allow them to operate in a faster amount of time.
Is used to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Manual lymph drainage uses a very light amount of pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. Lymphatic drainage is an important part of a lymphoedema treatment and can help with fluid retention and detoxification.
A treatment designed to temporarily reduce inches from target areas. Good for when the body needs a boost or you have a special occasion. The body firstly has an exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and specialised herbal clay is then applied, sealed in with a wrap. Whilst the wrap is on, G5 machine massage is used in target areas to help tone. After removal of the clay, a full body massage is given with selected aromatherapy oils to assist the process.
The face can hold a great deal of tension and this facial is designed the holistic way, using beneficial natural products to reduce the effects of this. The skin is first cleansed, toned and exfoliated to prepare the face for further treatment. A facial massage is then given along with acupressure to stimulate the meridians. This is followed by an aromatherapy mask to deeply cleanse and assist with toning the skin. And lastly, a nourishing skin serum is applied to complete treatment.
The Bowen move is applied at very precise points on the body. It involves the movement of gentle rolling of thumbs and forefingers through clothes, with frequent pauses in between and is designed to stimulate the tissue and nerve pathways, creating a focus for the brain.
Although back and neck pain account for the majority of conditions sought for Bowen treatment, it can also be helpful with more organic problems, such as asthma, migraines, irritable bowel, infertility, bowel & bladder problems and much more. It is suited to newborns & infants, through to the elderly.
A three hour package put together to treat from head to toe, again with the emphasis on holistic therapy (treating the body as a whole). The treatment starts with a deep foot soak, followed by pressure point reflexology to start removing the stress of the day. The next stage is a body scrub to remove dead skin cells, which lays the foundations for the body wrap - specialised herbal clay applied to help draw out the toxins from the body, sealed in with a wrap. Onto the face next with a pressure point facial massage to stimulate the meridians, followed by a rejuvenating face mask; whilst this is doing its magic, a scalp massage takes place. And to complete the process, a full body aromatherapy massage, using selected essential oils, takes place.
“I very much enjoyed my detox massage with Zoe and received good advice about diet to enable me to get the most out of this treatment. Very pleased and already looking forward to my next detox massage – I feel so relaxed and stress-free”. Frank
“Reflexology treatments have helped so much with balancing my system, feeling uplifted, totally relaxing my entire being and relieving my stress. Just lovely and will recommend to friends and family. I intend to continue with regular treatments for myself”. Julie
“I have known Sharon for many years and during that time have had many treatments, mainly sports and remedial therapy for my back, neck and shoulders. This is extremely good for easing out all that tension I seem to hold in these areas. I have also received Reiki from Sharon whilst I was going through treatment for breast cancer and found this invaluable.
I have also had two different treatments from Zoe, one was the manual lymph drainage for detoxification; this is a lovely gentle massage which I like to have every three months to clear toxins and it makes you feel wonderfully relaxed. The other is the winter warmer lava shells massage which has to be tried, it is excellent!
Sharon and Zoe are extremely kind and caring and, as well as the treatments, have given me good advice on many issues. They have certainly made a difference to me
